The Elica NikolaTesla Prime is an 83 cm built-in hob that combines induction cooking with an integrated downdraft extractor on a single glass surface. In the centre of its four independent induction zones sits an elegant cast-iron grille that conceals the powerful suction module and gives the hob a professional look. Delivering a total of 7.4 kW, the zones offer 9 power levels plus a Booster function on every zone; two large zones measure Ø20 cm and two measure Ø16 cm. The AUTOCAPTURE function automatically adjusts the extraction speed according to the number and power of the active cooking zones, capturing steam and odours right at the source. A single touch control panel manages both the hob and the extractor and disappears in standby mode to keep the surface clean. Child lock, residual heat indicator, pan detection, a minute minder and automatic safe shut-off make everyday use effortless. Both the glass top and the cast-iron grille are dishwasher safe. Rated energy class A, this model creates a modern, uncluttered kitchen layout without the need for a separate hood.
