REFRON R-32 is a single-component refrigerant (difluoromethane / CH₂F₂) developed for modern air conditioners and heat pump systems. It is supplied in a refillable steel cylinder with a 9 kg net charge and offers 99.9% purity. It does not damage the ozone layer (ODP = 0) and has a significantly lower global warming potential (GWP) than older gases such as R-410A and R-22. Thanks to its high energy efficiency and good thermodynamic properties, it is the preferred choice for new-generation split and inverter air conditioners.
